Born and raised in Vermont, Laura moved to Baltimore in 1989 to attend the Johns Hopkins University / Peabody Conservatory and graduated with multiple degrees in 1995. Captivated by the charming “city of neighborhoods”, its music and arts communities, history, architecture, steamed crabs, and Chesapeake Bay sailing, she decided to stay in Maryland. After a brief stint in music management with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society and the National Chamber Orchestra, Laura became a full-time Realtor in 2003.

Renowned for her innate organizational skills and ability to make things happen, Laura derives satisfaction from forging meaningful connections. Her favorite aspect of being a Realtor is facilitating successful outcomes for her clients, whether securing the ideal buyer or property and great terms of sale, or offering valuable recommendations for various real estate needs. She puts 110% into helping clients achieve their real estate goals, maintaining consistent communication and support throughout the transaction and beyond.

Active in the local community, Laura currently serves on the board of the Baltimore Irish Music School and is involved with the Baltimore business community. Laura regularly supports The Irvine Nature Center, BARCS, MDSPCA, Assistance Center of Towson Churches, The Sierra Club, The Animal Legal Defense Fund, and The Nature Conservancy. In her spare time, Laura is also a musician (a former classical flutist who transitioned to Irish traditional music), and enjoys photography, reading, hiking, web design, travel, gardening, and swimming. She lives in Towson, with her husband Jim, one cat, and two Labrador Retrievers.​
